Cooking to me is an obligation, not a hobby. Somehow friends name me a good cook and they often empty the plates to ‘honor’ the cook. Even so, I don’t really want to spend lots of time in the kitchen.
We have been eating pretty healthy, but we want to go even deeper. In addition to eliminating unhealthy ingredients, I began to homemade kitchen condiment basics and snacks. Fruit chips are my newfound love. That yummy apple and pear chips are crispy and have an intense natural sweetness and amazing texture. Believe it or not, I have been in my kitchen cutting fruits and running our new dehydrator a lot lately. When the chips come out of the dehydrator, they look so fresh and so pure (no preservatives), I love to hold them in my hands and drop them on the plate to form the heap… and you know, how can I resist not to take a picture 🙂
