A few Bleeding Heart images have set me off on a train of thoughts… This is what photography can do to you.
We often heard people say, ‘… but his/her heart is in the right place’. That seems to imply, that as long as your heart is in the right place, you are ethically less responsible for your actions. I think If we can take precautions to initiate our act with a pure and discerning heart, we are less likely to undergo an unpleasant outcome.
Proverbs 4:23 – Above all, guard your heart for everything you do flow from it. Philippians 1:10 – so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless…
The thought of ‘guarding your heart’ has often brought up discernment to my mind. We were created with a heart and a brain. I believe our Creator has set the purpose during His creation. We shall unify our brain, heart, and mind in one.
A good heart plus discretion and prudence will guide us to a more meaningful and peaceful life regardless of where and how we place our hearts.
