At Ease

The forecast says 82, but I am in the shade with gentle breeze softly brushing my face.  The Privets are sending off their pleasing fragrance to the air and I have indulged in aromatherapy. My backyard friends, nuthatches and chickadees, are coming back and forth like busy bees ever since I found that ‘gourmet’ suet with almond, walnut and pecan among other delicious ingredients.  The fountain is playing that ever-refreshing water sound besides offering birds a cooling stop to quench their thirst.

Life is good. At this moment, I have no desire beyond this simple harmony.
